About
Hello there, I'm Lauren! I'm an Lebanese/Italian American illustrator. I have a degree in Commercial Illustration from Monroe Community College, where I remained on the Deans List until my graduation in December 2019.
I've always loved story telling and it is the root of my art. My work has a focus on lines and color (and strong noses). My favorite mediums are pen and ink, marker, and digital illustration. Since 2016 I have had my comics featured in publications and in 2023 I published the first issue of my own comic, Alice in Grungeland. Currently, my art career has focused on commissioned work for private clients and selling reproductions of my pieces.
Outside of art I enjoy cartoons, video games, and a good book. I also do hermit crab husbandry and currently have 3 hermit crabs, the oldest of which will be turning 12 in 2024.
